Since 2013, Gyrate Media has partnered with Verizon and its corporate social responsibility initiatives to develop and produce award-winning storytelling that showcases the company's impact on education, digital inclusion, small businesses, workforce development, disaster resilience, and community engagement.

Our work has spanned content strategy, editorial planning, reporting, writing, photography, video production, social media content, and executive communications across programs including Verizon Innovative Learning, Small Business Digital Ready, Citizen Verizon Volunteers, Skill Forward, Disaster Resilience and other key initiatives.

Verizon Small Business Digital Ready

Highlights

  • Developed and managed ongoing editorial calendars featuring weekly stories, videos, photography, and social content that amplified Verizon's community impact across the country.

  • Collaborated directly with schools, nonprofits, educators, small business owners, volunteers, and strategic partners to identify and tell compelling human-centered stories.

  • Produced "You Don't Know Me," a documentary film highlighting Verizon's work with young men of color through Verizon Innovative Learning. The film screened at the Essence Festival and other national events and received a Davey Award.

  • Helped launch and create content supporting Verizon's early leadership in 5G and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies, including website features, thought leadership content, and newsletters.

  • Produced hundreds of stories, videos, photo essays, and social assets showcasing the impact of Verizon's investments in digital equity, education, workforce development, and small business growth.

  • Developed creative campaigns, graphics, animations, GIFs, and social-first content designed to increase engagement and extend the reach of Verizon's community initiatives.
